It’s embarrassing to watch. This team is incapable of guarding a team with SEC athletes in a man to man. Idk why pope hasn’t figured this out yet. Got to start working on different type of zones and roll with it. We can’t guard our man when the opponent isn’t Jackson state or Colgate

I have faith that Pope will get this team playing better defense by the middle of conference play. Unlike Cal, he actually cares about representing the school and playing with pride and he’ll start working on it. I’m seriously convinced this team only mentions the word defense in the craft center a handful of times up until now. He will change
