Four-star outside linebacker Rayme Johnson of Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian has been hearing from UK defensive backs coach Steven Clinkscale recently. The Cats' assistant coach apparently visited his high school on Tuesday and told Johnson he will be returning for a home visit sometime in the near future. The connection: Johnson is very good friends with JUCO DB Keisean Nixon, who Kentucky has been recruiting (Nixon didn't include UK in his top six, which he released last night).
Johnson has already taken official visits to Nebraska, Oregon and Oregon State. He said Florida will "definitely" get one of his two remaining trips, but if UK offers the Cats will be in the mix for that last spot.
