4-4 in last 8 games, 10th place in SEC

Oh so now we qualify numbers. Ok.

Numbers that need to be qualified, absolutely. I can't tell if you're ignorant or intentionally offering misleading data
you act like you’ve had some great epiphany that Williams who plays more with the starting lineup so his individual numbers look better. No shit Sherlock. What would Amari’s numbers looks like if he played with the reserves? JFC if you play with weaker players the overall performance is lower. You really think when Pope puts Perry in for Butler and Perry plays 30 minutes, everybody’s numbers stay the same?

You cited a source, I went to the source and showed what it said. You want to use stats in a silo until you don’t.

I’m different than some of you. Had this game pegged as an L in the preseason.
Figured this season would be like Pitino’s first year at 500 with no road wins. Didn’t count on the big tourney.
Doing much better than that and recruiting is going well plus I like the style of play. CMP also learning. Good man.

You clearly don't understand the analytics, just say so. If numbers and data points aren't your thing, if percentiles are too foreign of a concept, ain't no shame in admitting it.

I gave you INDIVIDUAL analytics for Williams vs Garrison

Here's another one for you. Check out EvanMiya's "On/Off Splits" for Kentucky's players, and still try to maintain that BG is somehow more productive for UK than Williams

I'm not overly big on +/- for individual players. There are many more pieces of data that judge an individuals performance. Where I do value +/- is lineup construction. It can really lend some light into the best lineups. Given that lineup is basically just Garrison swapped for Amari with the starters, I'm really (like REALLY) surprised that lineup hasn't played more possessions together.

Well glad you think you know me lol. You can keep trying to insult me.

Update...

Cats are now sitting at 4-3 in a tie for 5th place, and only 1 game out of 3rd place (UF and Mizzou are tied with 5-2 records).

At this point, just gotta get guys healthy. If this team can get Carr, Bulter, and maybe even Kriisa back, they will be a tough out for anyone.

Imagine watching last night's game and then waking up and being the guy that thinks Garrison should be getting more time than Williams

Williams, in only 24 mins of playing time, had 10 points and 15 rebounds - FIFTEEN
Williams had a +20 last night, by far the highest on the team: PLUS TWENTY!
Williams led the team in assists last night (4)

Garrison played 16 mins, only 2 points and 2 rebounds
Garrison had a -16 last night
Garrison was in (not with scrubs) during both of Tennessee's largest runs, where offensive rebounding killed the Cats

Imagine being that guy, FishersCat, that guy that thinks BG is the answer over Williams, just imagine...

So we steal one at UT and follow that by getting absolutely punked by Cal in the biggest game of the year.

5-5 in our last 10 games, 4-4 in the SEC, 9th place and have lost to two of the four worst teams in the conference.

In Kentucky's last 6 games, Amari Williams has a +37 and UK is -31 with him off the court (Justin Rowland)

Kentucky is +.25 points per minute WITH Amari, and -.33 points without

Just an insanely bad take to try and pretend Garrison should be the man over Amari. Again, BG hits a couple 3s and fans think he's something special. Want to win? Play Amari

I'm not even putting a gameday shirt on 2day. Not turning this shit show on tonight either and if they go win so be it. I don't wanna be pissed off about a sorry ass kids game.

Louie Dampier and Tommy Kron
Mike Casey and Phil Argento
Stan Key and Jimmy Dinwiddie
Mike Flynn and Jimmy Dan Conner
Larry Johnson and Truman Claytor
Kyle Macy and Truman Claytor
Dirk Miniefield and Jim Master
Roger Hardin and Dickie Beal
Anthony Epps and Tony Delk and Wayne Turner
Keith Bogans and Gerald Fitch
Jodie Meeks and DeAndre Liggins
John Wall and Eric Bledsoe
Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis and Harrison twins
Doron Lamb and Marquis Teague

Just a sampling, BUT, how many of their teams would have faired well without them? In fact for the real Kentucky fans on this board, you can look at some of those names and know what happened when Casey and Bogans got hurt for example.

More than likely the same way we are without Butler and Krisa.

Instead of piling on, think about it.

This team is going the wrong direction and look terrible doing it.

Check out the schedule - this team is going to be a bubble team unless they change dramatically.
You do realize the starting point and backup point guard are out with injuries, and the starting power forward is barely playing and missing entire games due to back spasms right? How many teams do you think would be doing any better in this scenario? I'm curious because I don't think there are any teams or coaches that would be doing better in this scenario.

ESPN says our remaining games will be more losses than wins. If you look at the schedule, they may be right unless we start playing out of our minds every game. So we may be lucky to hit the 500 mark for the season in the SEC with the schedule we have left.

So if that's true where do you think we end up W's and L's for the year?

They aren’t in danger of missing the tourney. But they can kiss a good seed goodbye. There about to be 15-7 after ole miss. I think they go 19-12 or 20-11. Win a game at the SEC tourney and end up being a 7 seed in the tourney
I agree with 19-12. I'm not sure about Texas and Oklahoma, Vandy at home. If we win those 3 it will help us in seeding.

3 must win games- vandy, SCAR, and LSU, you cannot under any circumstance lose these games at home
Tennessee and Auburn at home- can win can easily lose
Oklahoma Texas and ole miss- can win, can easily lose
Bama & Mizzou- see what happens but not expecting a win
If you can get the 3 at home, then get one of the others at home, then get need one on the road out of that next group
