4-12

I want to think a HUGE problem is undependable play from the wings, which Edwards should solve next year but who knows. Ugly stat for sure. My biggest hope is that when Cal does leave, he sets us up with a home run hire. I would think he would given his set up, post-coaching career.

At this point, I would be cautious with letting Cal have anything to do with picking the next coach.

Problem is Cal doesn’t make adjustments. Even when he does, it’s too late. He didn’t even “adjust” until the 2nd half last night. Unbelievable.

Makes me sad, too, ole buddy. I hate this. Feels like we’re just stuck.
It's early enough that I'm not going nail the coffin shut. Yet. lol But certainly don't like what I'm seeing especially after getting the extra work in the Bahamas.

It's a total mess for sure. I look at next years class and just tell myself to let it play out and one of two things are going to happen: Deep run one of the next to years or he's gone after next year. It really seems that simple to me. Either result will make fans happy other than the ones who are only happy when they are mad.

4-12 in our last 16 games against ranked teams. Man, that’s just incredibly bad! My goodness, how bad we’ve been the last few years.
I guess you now know why Cal doesn't want to go on the road and play in opponent's gyms. That IU incident has really done a number on him.

How many of those games were in November? Those don’t matter.

We’re also just so young.

Oscar hasn’t gotten to practice with these guys much.

Oscar also didn’t know the playbook that hasn’t changed a lick from last year.

Cal will undoubtedly have a huge hand in picking our next coach.

In fact, Cal may step down, but he will still be collecting a million a year from UK to be an ambassador. He won’t be the coach, but he won’t be far. One of the many ridiculous things Mitch built into his contract.

Seeing as how Oscar is about the only one keeping this ship afloat I hope he doesn't learn plays anytime soon.

Last time we won a NCAA tournament game was the 2018-19 squad - March 29, 2019 - If you think this is remotely acceptable, you're part of the problem.

That does scare me. Will Cal pick someone to benefit the program, or will he pick someone to benefit him and his close circle?

The next coach that comes here needs to know that the University of Kentucky must be his number one priority. This coach has succeeded in sending players to the NBA but final fours and national championship aspirations have faded. Kentucky is losing to many games to teams with lesser talent but better coaches that are not making near the money Cal is. In other word’s Kentucky is not getting the results expected for the money it has invested.

that is what everyone said about Frederick & Reeves, but they can't find the ocean

counting on freshmen to change results.......big mistake, especially with the lack of coaching they
will receive

I think he would be great in that ambassador job.

I don’t believe that for a minute. He hasnt had one assistant go on to be a successful coach. I just don’t believe UK would let that happen.
EDIT: I’m referring to the ”picking the coach “ statement.

And all for the same reasons. Some here will tell you it isn't the coach though.
It’s Fredrick’s fault, didn’t you see the posts last night? He shot 47% from 3 in two seasons at Iowa, but, he can’t shoot. Has nothing to do with the shit lineups he plays with, or, the lack of quality shots, in the flow of an offense. Our offensive sets resemble what you’d see in pickup games at the Y. This is where knockdown shooters come to die.
