3 point shooting is too. The last three games are all sub 28%, and that's 40% of our games played so far. There's a chance this team isn't as good from 3 as people expected, which could be a problem as we play more talented teams. So far three of the four halves we've played against real competition have not looked great.

I realize our schedule included many very easy games, but it is alarming to see that Clemson held us to thirty (30) points below our average.

It may well be that we are not quick, athletic and talented enough to get, shoot and make threes at a high enough percentage.
Aggressive defenders coming out to guard and challenge our three-pointers seems to be making a difference, but maybe we are just in a temporary 3-game shooting slump. We'll see ...

I just want to see the offense look good against top teams like it does against cupcakes. Obviously it’s not gonna look quite as crisp but it can’t look dramatically different like its been so far

Clemson's tempo is ranked 300th. So that's part of it, they were able to slow us down a lot so our point total would have been lower even if we were hitting shots. The other half is they defended us very well.

Good point !! Coming into the game, Clemson was averaging 79.4 points per game, while allowing only 62.9 points per game.
Conversely, coming into the game, the Cats were averaging 96.7 points pre game, while allowing only 68.1 points per game.
