Well in Cal's case, it is him yelling make a play and know one knows what the guy with the ball is going to do. Cal just rolls the ball out and lets it go at that.

They really don’t have the hallmarks of an early out. Play like they did vs. OSU, then yeah. But they mostly have played much better than that.

They’ve played like a team likely to earn a good seed and take care of business in round 1.

Round two will be tough on everyone, but I like our chances. Will be tough for most teams to turn it around in 48 hours and figure out how to guard us.

Blue, I agree with you to a point. After watching several minutes of the UT-Ark game, I watched UT guards who are very good, drive in the lane and end up with a fade away jump shot that did not go in. Announcers even said they were very tough shots.
Against us today, the Florida guards made several fade away or what I would call, "bail me out Holy Jesus" shots and it seemed every one of them went in.
Had the odds evened out just a little, our score would have been much different. I heard one of the announcers on ESPN say "I want to point out what will not be talked about much but Florida did miss 11 free throws". Yeah they did but they also shot 11 more than we did.
Overall, our defense wasn't that bad when you consider how many of those fade aways they made.

Read the thread. I’m talking about the offense against a team that was supposed to test our offense.

If you are looking to whine about something there’s other threads and posters ready to join you.

The defense was not bad either. The defensive rebounding was bad.

But if you want to whine after a win then knock yourself out.

25 to 6 will win a lot of basketball games. I saw two very talented teams today go toe to toe against each other at a fast pace. I am glad the Cats had the home court that helped. Both teams shot the ball really well. The Gators won the battle on the boards and 2nd chance points against the Cats won the turnover and fast break points and ultimately won the game.

Coach pointed out that for the last 6 games Florida led the nation in half court defense. Makes that assist rate even better.

We made them pay in points off turnovers too. They had 8 turnovers and we had 20 points off turnovers.
