Nothing really, just doesn’t seem balanced, and bama on senior day is kinda badWhat’s wrong with the schedule?
Nothing is “wrong” with it, we just play the current top 2 teams in the Nation thats all. What’s wrong with the schedule?
Iron sharpens iron.Nothing is “wrong” with it, we just play the current top 2 teams in the Nation thats all.
Why start with all 3 non conference cupcakes? Be nice to play one later in season as a quasi bye week. What’s wrong with the schedule?
Yeah and this year's is the easiest in the SEC, soNothing really, just doesn’t seem balanced, and bama on senior day is kinda bad
Two home games and I've seen 2 scalpers.Florida game is the one to make profit for ticket scalping. Thanks for the 4-0 start!
That’s Tennessee not Kentucky, I would have liked to see Kentucky have a easier game on senior day it’s not a big deal just a minor inconvenienceYeah and this year's is the easiest in the SEC, so
UT plays Georgia and Bama every year
Stoops just has to start winning after bye weeks. That’s all there is to it. Man has already done wonders at UK. Now beating UT at home and winning after a bye week are the best steps. And look at that, they’re both the same week. Why start with all 3 non conference cupcakes? Be nice to play one later in season as a quasi bye week.
Defense will be well positioned next year. We return everyone on the line, assuming no transfers or early entrants. We return nearly the entire secondary and get Vito back. It does hurt losing our interior LBs but their replacements, Wallace in particular, have potentially even higher upside as they get more experience. The offense will also be in great shape at all positions except for QB and No. 1 RB, so that's where the rebuild will need to happen.Might be a good year to have the 3 OOC games to start the season, then Vandy. We’ll be rebuilding, especially the heart of the D - the LBs
I hope so. I agree the young LBs have a lot of talent. I just feel there will be a noticeable drop-off. Square, Jones and Wright are not only talented, but are 5/6 year guys. The ILBs are true QB’s of the D in every sense of the word. Won’t be easy to replace their skill, experience and leadership. I think we have the foundation to be a historically good (7-9 wins) UK team. I’ll have to see what we do in the portal to feel confident about being great. This is the year IMO.Defense will be well positioned next year. We return everyone on the line, assuming no transfers or early entrants. We return nearly the entire secondary and get Vito back. I don't think ul will catch us by next year but they have to look at that schedule and smile. We have 6 tough games in 7 weeks before their annual beat down. Even that scar game looks tougher placed there.
Agree with you that we need to make Florida come up here in the cold again.Once again, no Florida in November but they move South Carolina down there for the first time I can ever remember. It’s been over 35 years since the Gators came to Lexington when it’s cold. I guess Mitch just isn’t ever going to get that done just ONE FREAKIN TIME!!!
Also, this has to be the earliest we have ever played Vandy.
He’d better start this year since we play them in Knoxville following our bye week.Stoops just has to start winning after bye weeks. That’s all there is to it. Man has already done wonders at UK. Now beating UT at home and winning after a bye week are the best steps. And look at that, they’re both the same week.
I made $213 off of just four tickets in row 27 at the top on press box side for South Carolina game. $206 (fees included, $45 face value before UK raised it to $60) total for four tickets, sold for $420 on Ticketmaster. Two home games and I've seen 2 scalpers.
I'm not really worried about the LBs we're losing because the ones behind them have shown flashes of greatness this season already.Might be a good year to have the 3 OOC games to start the season, then Vandy. We’ll be rebuilding, especially the heart of the D - the LBs
We go to Arkansas in 24UK yet to play Arkansas and haven't had Texas A&M at home yet.
It won't.We go to Arkansas in 24
A&M here in 25
If current scheduling model remains in effect
Not all teams have thsi kind of stretch...mnay other teams put a non conference cupcake in the middle of Oct/Nov....but we start with them all...sort of dumbGators, Dawgs, and Vols 3 out 4 weeks. Whew. SEC just tries you all the time.
Yeah and this year's is the easiest in the SEC, so
