2022 Season

I know it’s said every year, but I honestly feel like the 2022 season is going to be one of, if not the most important in UK history.

Stoops has the train rolling. We are coming off a 10 win season, top 10 recruiting class, an improved offense that is starting to draw some attention. I feel like next season will determine if we go to that next level. We will need another recruiting class like this years, and honestly I feel like it’s another favorable schedule.

Miami (OH), Florida, Youngstown State, Northern Illinois, South Carolina, Missouri, Vanderbilt, and Louisville all seem winnable.

Ol’ Miss, Mississippi St., and Tennessee feel like coin flips, and Georgia will prove to be King of the East once again with their unreal recruiting.

If we can manage to come out of this at 9-3 or 10-2, with another top 25 class, wow. We might be heading for greatness. I’ve always said what Stoops is doing reminds me of what Dabo did at Clemson. If we was in the ACC, no telling where we would be, but we have to compete against teams that out recruit us even with us being in the top 10. I’m pretty damn excited to see where this goes!

Yes, this is said every year. At other programs too.

My eye is on how well Stoops uses the portal to rebuild his secondary. Everything else looks in good shape as long as CRod returns and Double-O's leg heals.

I am getting excited about Barion Brown. Exactly what our offense needs.

The Citrus Bowl was a good experience. My family had a great time. We found a way to win a bowl with a team depleted by COVID and injuries. Many of these players will be gone, but a good nucleus returns. Just a few tweaks needed. 2022 should be another step forward.

Gotta have a couple of guys who can catch the ball downfield. If that happens, this is good chance imo.
