Taquan Roberson is another 2019 quarterback that Hinshaw will be watching in the near future. UK's quarterbacks coach is expected to watch Doyle throw at St. John's College High in Maryland tomorrow, but he's also told Roberson that he will watch him throw on Wednesday as well.
Roberson is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound dual-threat quarterback from Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic. He has offers from North Carolina, Rutgers and Virginia Tech already, so it wouldn't be a surprise at all if Kentucky offers. That could depending how tomorrow goes of course.
Another 2019 quarterback who recently emerged on the radar is Connor Bazelak, a two-sport star and quarterback at Archbishop Alter High School in Ohio. Bazelak hasn't gotten a ton of press but don't write him off. I will have a little more on him in a story today but I'm attaching his video here. He will camp at UK this summer.
