I will not be sold on KU until they are in the elite 8. Until then, I'm thinking they will flame out earlier than expected. I'm not sold on their pgs. I know KU fans are expecting big things from that spot on the floor. I'll have to see the improvement before I believe it. We will have the 2 best players on the floor when we play the jayhawks. I guess I just don't see the talent on KU as these experts. When Ellis is your go to player, I think your expectations are a lil high when you're thinking final four. He's a solid player, but not elite. He is too easily Shut down by a guy like Poythress. When you're still expecting a guy like Seldom to Break out, I think you're Screwed. After 3 or 4 years, you are what you are. Not sure if the kid was just overrated coming out of highschool or not delevoped. It's hard to say either way.

Dude. Enough! Yes, we have lost early the last couple of years WITH INJURIES AND INELIGIBILITIES. You lost to Robert Morris in the NIT (due to injury. Although that KY team wasn't going far in the NCAA had they been healthy. They were "uncoachable").

Make fun of the Helms banners al you want, you won't find an NIT bid in KU's resume. Let alone a FIRST ROUND LOSS.

Kentucky has had the best or second best recruited team every year under Cal and still have as many championships as does KU under Bill Self.

How can so many great teams fail to win it all? Choking?

Are you all choking on the big games? You had a freaking NBA team last year and choked it. Heck, you had several close calls within the SEC. CLOSE CALLS.

We were in the title game in 2012. 2014 Embiid goes down entering the tournament. 2015 Greene gets injured late in the season and Alexander is held out due to NCAA issues. How did Kentucky do when Noel went down to injury?

We've had starters with season ending injuries 3 seasons in a row, and we've gotten 2 F4s in those 3 years. Cal manages.

But during the year, we have Iowa State, OU, Texas, OSU, and others. You have LSU, Bama, florida, fl. State et al. Real bb juggernaughts.

Against that "competition" against football schools, why haven't you won more conference titles?

KU would cake walk that conference.

Dude, your conference sucks terribly.

You can't be serious about the winning the conference question, right?

The reason we don't win the SEC every year is because unlike in the Big 12, there's been another elite coach in the SEC in Donovan.

You guys have had mo, larry, and curly on the sidelines for your conference rivals, and it's even easier for you this season: the second best of those jokers is now approx. the 5th most noteworthy coach in our conference, and your third best left to coach the bulls.

So you have captain toupee with top 3 recruiting in the country over the past 6 years and only a single final four to show for it (and only one other elite 8).
Beyond that, you've got who? Huggy Bear and Lon Kruger are okay. Who's next? Scott Drew? lol.

Behind Cal, minus Donovan, we have Pearl, Howland, Johnson, Barnes, and then hopefully a decent team between the recruiting riches of LSU and A&M - and Stallings has put together a nice team or two and is expected to have another one this year.
And that's not factoring in if Anderson can get his players to stop being idiots just long enough to field another good team, if Frank Martin can start acting like a competent coach, etc.

Like KU, we have no problem beating up on the Big 12.

UK is 56-10 all time against your conference. Both conferences suck, but the SEC has often had a high level #2 team in history whether it was LSU or Alabama or Arkansas or TN or Florida - Donovan is a lock HOFer with two championships and two other F4s of a number 2, and yet he left with a 17-27 record against Kentucky.

You guys are one of the 3 teams (Duke, AZ, KU) who has had a comparable star average to us across the rotation since Cal has been at UK. In that time, Self's results are much much much much more comparable to Miller's than to Cal's or K's.

As for NBA players from our squad vs yours - I don't know what to tell you. Again, you guys start a bunch of five stars, and if not enough of those KU 5 stars go on to the NBA, it has nothing to do with Cal.
