As questionable as some of Mingione's decisions. He's taken us as far as we've ever been, so hard to be too upset at it. A ball stays fair and a throw is 0.05 seconds later and we probably get 2 runs at least that inning.

The only reason I can see it is if you are trying to break up Burkes, McCoy, and Smith. If you are going to do that though why not put Nicholson in the 3 hole then and hit Burkes 6th.
