I doubt it will be a public event. And the players have the right to go or not, but I'll bet most will. So will Robey, of course, and all the car dealers in Louisville, and as I recently learned, on Nicholasville Road. You KNOW that guy which lots of cash and few morals will be telling their wifes 'it's a UK event for guys'.
And Ratino will be as far away from Joanne as he can get without getting his feet wet.

If so, I have lost a lot of respect for those guys. Again, if so; IMO they are about themselves and not UK nor the tradition or BBN.
Again, if so; some of our more current OADs have shown more respect for BBN than those 3 and 4 year Ky guys.

I think this is more Pitino than the team.my source says RATino is paying the way of all players to Florida..
I know I'm in the minority on this, and no I'm not a troll because of my low post count....but I think he should come and I think UK should welcome him. IDK, maybe it's the romantic notion of the prodigal son returning and seeking redemption. Cal's golden era is awesome, and although Pitino's wasn't as prolific, it was damn close and much needed at the time. How much would it piss UL off that in the end, Rick came home to UK?

Call me jaded if you like but this is one thing I will always thank Rick Pitino for. When it comes to sports, the past is the past and it should never have anything to do with the present or the future. The quicker you come to that realization the better off you will be.
Robey loves him some Ratino. I have no idea why, nor care. Never liked him in school either.
