12 Steps to UNC Delirium

Well, I am not shitting on the thread. I am shitting on my buddy Mark.
You gotta let go of this Duke thing. I agree that they flop more than anyone else, but there's no reason to go after every Duke poster because of it. Let the opportunity present instead of trying to initiate confrontation. Otherwise, it just makes you look obsessed. Mark is a good dude. No reason to attack him.

Wow, I've been gone away to handle a few things and when I come back I see that UK fans are now eating their own. Yep, the obsession with UNC is so strong with several here that they'll go after a UK fan who calls out a Duke fan for his comments about Cal a few months ago. I guess all-things UNC trumps anything UK to some? Oh Mark, I'm sure the good posters here would love to hear your thoughts about Cal and the NC State recruit he was trying to pluck away. Care to enlighten them?

Ok guys, it's been good catching up with what I missed, which looks like a lot of crying about UNC. I'll be back around in a few months when the NCAA rules...either eating crow for being wrong about UNC not having played any ineligible players or.... Anyways, back to it.

Well said and I will take note.
I will back off. For now:)

i bet it is strange for you to come to a board where posters are actually allowed to think for themselves, and even defend rival posters when justified

hopefully some honor and integrity will rub off on you
of course you may be brainwashed from reading and posting on the UNC boards to the point that there may be no hope for you

12 steps to UNC delirium
We have learned a lot about “The Carolina Way” in the last few months, and it seems to be a 12-step process in a recent example of 18 years of academic and athletic fraud:

Step 1: Bury the whistleblower

Step 2: Spend $1 million to hire PR spinmasters

Step 3: Conduct obligatory internal review lite 1

Step 4: Ease out unaccountable AD into early retirement with full benefits, move chancellor back to professor

Step 5: Stall, obfuscate, stall, see if news reporters can figure it out

Step 6: Hire friendly investigator, who sees no need to really interview anyone

Step 7: Trot out head coaches to earnestly claim they had no idea

Step 8: Bury whistleblower No. 2: player who took the courses ... well he’s crazy

Step 9: Just to keep him around, extend the head basketball coach’s contract

Step 10: Keep those pesky reporters happy with real investigation

Step 11: Interpret results yourself, take 89 days of NCAA 90-day response period, come up with a new delay to get through football and basketball season, keep the BS flowing to the new recruits

Step 12: Throw Hall of Fame women’s basketball coach under the bus, get her set for early retirement, problem solved!

They should make about 100,000 flyers with that on it and air drop it over the UNCheat campus and the NCAA headquarters, that would be great[winking]
