A player not looking in the right direction, then figuring it out later, tells me the problem is on the player, not the coach.

With the current defense they better score nearly every time. Shot 50% from field. Hit 12 3s against UT scored 92 but gave up 103. That's horrible.

We could’ve score 100, with making FTs, and still lost.

I think part of the problem was 1. Big Z had a lot of catching up to do and 2. He's used to FIBA rules which are a lot different than college rules.

I don't disagree. I think with 5th and 6th year transfers, the 1AD model is even harder to win with.

A LOT of freshman are struggling in college ball actually. Not just at UK. It's a hard game to transition to, especially now that the game is no longer "out-athlete" the competition, like it was with Wall or Drose. You have to have a certain level of basketball ability now.
