This team absolutely rejects the notion of building any kind of momentum throughout the season. In fact, I can't think of the last time that a Kentucky team had any momentum consistently as a team in a given season. Maybe the 2017 team? That's pathetic.
I hate to say this but we need to post up. Their biggest player is 6’8. Draw double and kick out. The ball screen isn’t working.
I agree. I'm tired of the "we're everyone's super bowl" and "the refs don't like us" bullshit. We LOOK like a team that shouldn't win this game. That needs to change. The excuses need to stop. If UK doesn't make the Final Four this year, Cal needs to be gone.
This team with so much talent, just can't continue to struggle in games when Bradshaw is in foul trouble.
But the players get a total pass for standing around, not rebounding, leaving their guy over and over again?

This South Carolina team reminds me a lot of Tennessee with the amount of grabbing and holding. Teams are going to get away with it at home. I’m dreading that game in TBA.
I somewhat agree, he definitely proved himself somewhat already down low on defense. Has a good sense for blocking shots

Sad fact is that this team is just weak. They can't play through contact and if the refs won't do their jobs then you have this result. Add in the fact that Cal can't game coach for shit and it equal a loss. '
How hard is it to apply pressure to speed up the game and shorten their shot clock so that they can't sit on their end of the floor and jack off for 20 seconds per. And run some effing set plays.

That lineup was horrible to end the half...get Edwards the hell off the court and put him on the damn bench. That last three they hit before halftime was right in his face. Again - we need Thiero badly in a game like this.

How do we continue to miss point blank lay ups? I would sit Edwards and Reed..Edwards gives us nothing and Reed is playing with his head up his ass..3 seven footers and DJ and Antonio continue to go one on one..Mitchell looks lost..if it were not for Rob we would be down 15..
I think it's Wagner is the reason I keep thinking this offense looks "off" despite scoring a ton of points on 130 possession games.

We have far too much talent on this team to harbor a me-first PG. I'm very worried about him capping this teams potential. Cal already limited one of his 5-stars minutes, no way he would do it twice.

Amazing ... this is the same team that scored 91 points in the first 30 minutes against Georgia.

Saul-he will. Sorry to say it but the lower my expectations the lower the pain.
Cal doesn't want to upset certain players, and he's not the center of attention in blowouts.
UK did not get into the bonus despite Sc playing really physical. How does that work? SC can play physical defense without fouling? Smh
There's been nothing wrong with the defense lol. They have 33 with a bunch of contested prayers going in. I've actually been rather impressed with the defense tonight. It's the other side thats the problem.
Actually thought Dillingham and the 3 bigs were the only bright spots at all that half. The other 3 guards have been awful, Edwards just doesn’t have it, and Mitchell is being guarded well.
It takes a real dumb@$$ to pull your only hot shooter from the game when he almost single handedly gets you a 7 point lead.
And to get into a half court slugfest when you know you will not get fouls called is just mind blowing.
