I agree and think our current team is being undervalued a bit just because it’s Pope’s first roster and was assembled quickly. I know it’s natural to always be looking toward the future but — at least on paper — I’m not sure you could ask for much more than we have this year in terms of just balance, depth, experience, and shooting across the board.

^^ I really think this too. The guy seems to have leaned into the abrasive nor’easter dude persona a little too much. Doesn’t even seem all that authentic anymore, and it seems like he enjoys the celebrity aspect as much as the hoops.

Great backcourt, an elite 3 pt shooter (or more), a rim protector and some depth. This team could do some damage.

And don't forget we have an actual coach... something we have lacked for many years.

5 players who will play in the system this year in Oweh, Garrison, Chandler, Noah and Perry.

4 highly talented freshman in Wilson, Johnson, Moreno and Lewis.

3 or 4 veteran role players with a ton of experience in the portal.

That's pretty much everything you need to win it all. Talent, experience, athleticism, shooting, glue guys, role players the team should check all boxes for a title contender. Yes I think we are this year as well. Just don't think the media will rank is as low with 5 guys back, a top recruiting class and some good portal player's.
