You asked if anyone could name a coach so I did. It wasn’t how cal would be treated if he did. Cal’s a big lefty anyway zero chance he would ever do anything like that.

I think the situation in the video with Buzz and the situation with Cal at Gainesville with UK is apples and oranges.
The video is shot pre George Floyd so kneeling was not even on the table.
Buzz was addressing the issue of players not being attentive during the anthem and honoring of the soldiers and the importance of doing so.
There was never an issue of kneeling or BLM on the table.
I take it that it was a university sponsored event so I can't see anything that Buzz told his players that Cal wouldn't have.
To my knowledge and I may be wrong but in the case of both the basketball and the football team, the players made the decision to kneel without the coaches input.
They then asked the coaches to join them.
Like I said, if you are coaching P5 at a state university with a predominantly AA team, I don't know what you do other than to go along and let them get it out of their system.
You sure as hell can't suspend anyone.
Forget the media, you would catch hell from the students on most college campuses these days.

Noone could've predicted this. Good for him and glad he's played so incredibly well
