The wording appears to give it away. Which I'm all for clever wordplay, but not sure I've ever heard of "a grace of good news" Little clunky
JR predicted Grace to UK. Tru Edwards also made his visit. The NMSU had a good visit to UK but has been to 2-3 schools since. Conner Moore an Ohio kid from MT State, is another LT they after and today they offered his teammate a really good TE. The TE had almost 500 yds and 9 TDs. Looks like the TE is gonna visit
Hopefully Stoops can coach them up and stay away from the bourbon business for a bit.

Alright, I'll admit Stoops has done a great job in the portal so far. Better than I expected.
I was salty at first because the season was so depressing. And I thought we'd definitely be better than 4 and ****ing 8.
Get Grace, Edwards and a couple others and it'll be a really nice transfer portal class.

If we get Grace all we'll need is a Left Tackle and I'll be extremely pleased with all of the turnover through the transfer portal!!!
Now whether Coach Stoops can do any better with the new players is still a HUGE question mark. But I am hopeful that he is willing AND ready to get back to expecting his players to work hard and be MORE disciplined!!!

I sense that they have come to the conclusion that getting small school standouts that want to move up get high visibility and a shot at the League, is a safer choice as opposed to getting P4 team's 4 stars that "for some reason" have not played a lot, have been injured or underperformed.
South Dakota is one of the better programs in FCS (they beat eventual champions NDSU in the regular season before bowing out in the playoff semifinals), and 24/7 has Grace as a 4 star transfer and 11th best edge rusher in the portal. Of course nothing is ever guaranteed in recruiting, but there’s a solid chance that he can actually play.
Wasn't he also the defensive player of the year in FCS?

This young man will have options. Besides UK, several other P4 programs have offered.

Sure seems that way and imo is a massive improvement over the diva mentality that wrecked the last two seasons. This new approach is actually giving me hope we'll get back to hard work and a coach driven program; and have a reasonably good season.

Grace, Pete, and the Cooley brothers are the remaining targets for this window. Coach Hamdan would like to get Tru Edwards, but the weather caused Edwards to postpone or cancel his visit to Lexington. Grace has drawn out his recruiting a little bit. He could choose UK, but my friend in the muscle end of 15 is concerned about Grace's other visits. I don't put it past Coach Marrow though, and we should know something on Grace in the next several days. In order for us to get Pete, he would have to turn down Vandy (he knows their coaches well) and several ranked programs. The opportunity at UK might be better for Pete in the long run, but we don't have very much NIL money left so he would have to be cool with less money. The Cooley brothers are still possibilities.
And your point being ? A lot of kids start out in lower classes / smaller schools and move up and do really well. What a player has inside of the jersey is a lot more important than what he has printed on the jersey. Pretty sure the 10/15 schools who will be after him knows a little bit about football.
There are others they’re still talking to also. JR did a portal spotlight on the MT ST TE that he only does if they’re planning on visiting. Also Tru did visit according to JR
No one should play TE at all if they don't like to block since the TE position is primarily blocking position. Most TEs are blocking over 90% of the time and may only get 2 or 3 targets a game if that, unless they're some sort of super star like Brock Bowers..
True but the MT TE is not a priority or really even a need unless another TE leaves. They would be very happy to get Edwards, Grace, or Pete. Those are the top priorities but the Cooleys are takes as long as money is available.
