“Basketball Plays”

Compare two similar plays two weeks apart (March 1 and March 14) with an official - Joe Lindsay - calling both games. In the first one, Lamont Butler is called for a flagrant 1 after monitor review calling it not a basketball play. In the second, no foul is called against the AL player hitting Oweh in the face after monitor review claiming it was a basketball play. Two almost identical plays with KY on the opposite side (offense vs defense) of both plays but both plays are called against KY.

I agree, that foul called on Butler was bull crap. It was basically the same type of play.

It’s almost as if the officials have no desire to actually call a fair game and have some other focus instead.

I’m betting (pun intended) the refs we know by name are living a pretty lavish lifestyle. More than likely above and beyond what they would if they lived only on what they are paid above the table. You know like members of congress that are with hundreds of millions off of $174k a year. They. Are. Corrupt.

I definitely think several of the officials are on the take too. I feel certain the refs in the Oklahomo game were trying to manipulate the end score based on the spread.

At this point people can gamble on games from an app on their phone during the game. Best to assume almost all of them are betting on games.

They 100% and they absolutely were hellbent on making sure uk didn't cover in that game. Second half anytime uk pushed the lead to 8, here came the bs. Not just any bs, but insane bs. Almost cost us.

There is no doubt in my mind at least some wre corrupt. They literally can't be this bad. Plus you can watch them in the upcoming ncaa tournament and they will mostly be just fine.

There should definitely be investigations all starting with any of these guys self employed, like rooferee. These guys are gone every night of the week for months yet run a thriving business? In his case, he didn't even have many employees iirc.

If they arent corrupt as individuals, then the league is corrupt in either 1) allowing them to be so bad or 2) driving an agenda at the league level.

Its surprising how many people forget just a few years ago, pac 10 iirc had a scandal where a league rep was in the centralized replay center dictating calls based on reasons other than rule application.
