    Did a quick glance on BYU vs UK 3 pt shooters last year.

    BYU - 5 guys had 145 or more attempts. 2 more had at least 92. UK - 3 guys had 144 or more attempts. DJ shot 96. Overall, BYU shot 1063 vs UK 772. Guess what our focus will be for players going forward? And fans thought we shot a lot of 3 pointers last year.

    2 coaches that were handed the job from his predecessor: Hall & Smith. Had Pitino said Donovan, could you imagine the impact the next few years could have been? Pope has to make a name for himself, then hand it off in what, 10 years, to an assistant. Thanks Mitch for not considering...

    Rupp - 1930 - 15-3 Hall - 1972 - 20-8 Sutton - 1985 - 32-4 Pitino - 1989 - 14-14 Smith - 1997 - 35-4 Gillispie - 2007 - 18-13 Calipari - 2009 - 35-3 7 coaches average out to 24 wins 7 losses. Can Pope get us 24 wins in Year 1?

    Haven't looked at all the other Reed threads, but I see a projection of Reed at #3. That's $45M guaranteed. Rob is slotted #6 and he's at 33M guaranteed. No you take that chance to potentially lower your potential slot.

    Pope played for Larry Bird at Indiana. Use all your resources. Pope has a lot of playing and experience that makes him a good fit. If he can transfer it to wins and a good roster, this could be special.

    I don't see Wagner back, or any other 5 star outside of Reed. Jordan Burks would be a great keep if possible. Blackmon is interesting as well, and possibly even Mashburn if they are still looking?

    So Mitch saves a lot for the life of this contract. The question is NIL or not, will top players come to play for Coach Pope. I like the idea of Blackmon coming here. The questions I have is who will return from last year?
