Great first quarter. This is David vs Goliath. USCjr is so much bigger and more athletic. Iowa is just playing basketball and Clarke is other worldly.
Clark just had best quarter in championship game history. She's truly fun to watch.
The game is on abc. Rebecca Lobo is color person calling the game. CC is by far the greatest thing to happen to women's basketball and they hate her.

Clark going off early. She’ll have to keep it up. Only chance they have is to outscore SC. They can’t stop them.
Iowa’s Clark with 18 in first quarter, but SC is so much bigger/taller, I think SC’s size, talent snd deep roster will win out.

First time watching. CC is an amazing shooter and womens basketball player. Any talk of her being able to play with men however is silly. She couldn’t play against average high school male athletes from what I have seen. Knock down open jumpers, sure, but that’s where her ability against the male counterpart ends.
Their tallest player started was 6’2. I’m pretty sure that SC started 3 players taller than that. I knew that was going to be a big issue.
3rd quarter will be key for Iowa. That’s usually where SC flat kills people.
She struggled in the first half against UConn Friday night too and went beast mode in the 2nd half to pull them over the finish line in that game.
She better today. Gotta stop going inside. Had excellent 1st qtr. If Iowa can't get her easier shots l think it'll be a long 2nd half. They won't be in the game unless she gets 40+.
The size difference is making a huge difference. SC is just too big and strong underneath for the Iowa girls.
