Where is all the Recruiting news?

We're in a dead period on recruiting, fires back up next week. Looks like the commit thingy was click bait.
Isaiah West, 3* RB announcing commitment somewhere tomorrow at 7. UK among leaders.
Under rated, not a burner but adequate speed with good strength.
How many RBs will UK take in '25 class?
Have read that West is the 28th best RB in the 25 class. UK, WI and MC are his top three. Said he likes how Kentucky carries itself. Really likes Boulware. Mentioned Boulware coaching at Oklahoma and the Steelers. Thinks that Boulware can get him to the next level. Either 5-11 or 6-0 and around 200 pounds. Believe it said the same high school as David Washington?
Generally speaking you won't see very much recruiting news between the end of the February signing period and the beginning of spring practice. We had two exceptions this year with the late flip of Jaden Smith from MI (Harbaugh left for SD) and the recent commitment of 2025 player Isaiah West. There are a handful of 2025 prospects who might commit to UK sometime between now and July. But right now is typically the slowest time of year for football recruiting news.
Yes, normally if an SEC player enters the portal after the winter period they can't go to another conference team. Maybe rules are different if they are a grad transfer and it is OK.
He is a good guy, has his degree in finance so clearly a smart guy. He has played some in mop up duty and just doesn't have the footspeed of an SEC OL, or has yet to show it. If getting on the field is his goal I would think he would go down a division.
Yes grad transfers are different and can go to another SEC school when portal is open during spring.
The headline on the pay-per-view article says he’ll fill a “niche” role: long snapper??

Welcome Hack. Wonder if the highly thought of long snapper we brought in a year ago that got hurt is still around?
The snapper who got hurt was a senior. I have not heard anything about Himebauch leaving, and he is still on the depth chart.
