UK adds athlete Isaiah Brown to 2015 class

As a preferred walk-on from Georgia, plays on the same team as Calvin Taylor. Brown is a 6'0, 175# CB/WR, runs a 4.43 forty. Pretty raw, but he can catch a football, he's quick, has very good closing speed defensively. Here's a highlight film of him.

Good football player. I am not sure I see that kind of speed but he has good instincts and knows the game.

walkons can really help shore up some thin spots and are invaluable in practice. they dont count against your #'s so bring in a bunch every year and see what you got a few years down the road. we've had a couple end up pretty good players and they never seemed to bring in as many as stoops is.

In the past, a player like this may have gotten a scholly by UK. Good athlete that needs a lot of development. Stoops has been getting some quality walk ons. You can bet a few of them will develop into really nice college players.

It was reported that he walked onto the team (again, as a preferred walk-on. Staff wanted him here, but not on scholarship).

He looks like he could help on both sides of the ball, probably would be good on ST. May help us a lot as a soph and junior in games.
