I disagree about the game meaning nothing. The Bahamas games last year meant nothing, but to have your basketball career start by winning a gold medal would mean something to me.

How, exactly, is winning this medal anything at all like a participation trophy? They don't get it by just participating. They get it by winning.

Um, I mean they actually did have to beat other teams to get here so.....while it's nothing to burn a couch over, it's still an accomplishment.
