Round of 32*Originally posted by CatChow:
I'll reassure you that they have no interior presence and could easily lose to Texas if a Texas makes it into the S16
You sure they were the only one?Originally posted by UK4EVR:
They were the one team I did not want in our bracket.

A Kentucky fan should never be afraid. Are you sure you are one?
In the last game against Duke, Auguste was the only person they had to guard Okafor, and he was limited because you can't breathe on him, but he didn't seem like an overly gifted defender. They will be reaching in all day when our bigs get it in the lane, which is something we've had some problem with, although not as much lately.Originally posted by FFWhite:
This Notre Dame team doesn't have the ability to turn teams over like the Unforgettables. They also will have no answer when the Cats pound it inside. UK's length will effect their shooters.
Duke also played ND again and won by 30...because Duke actually defended some for once, and hit the easy shots every team gets against ND. The first game against ND Duke was having their issues with Sulamion...and they led most of the game and choked.Originally posted by new era cat:
Duke shot 17% from 3. That is why ND beat them. Puke doesn't hit 40% from 3 they are average with 1 superstar that can't play defense.
Notre Dame 10-20 3 pointers against UNCheats. 32 free throws. That is why they beat them.
They will HAVE to play us straight up man to man and everything will go over the top of them. They have no chance.
I agree they are hot at right time, I share your concern and had hoped they would be elsewhere I watched that 22-2 run to ice the game last night against the Carolina Cougars.Originally posted by dezyDeco:
Well, call me "concerned" rather than scared about ND. Hopefully, that keeps me out of the crying-little-girl-photo category!
They just look like the Hot Team... similar to UK in 2011... and it appears that they can do the one thing that might beat UK on an off-night, which is rack up a ton of points from the 3-point-line. I would've preferred that they were not in our bracket.
That said, if Kentucky is clicking like today... I'm not worried about a thing, regardless of the opponent.
They just beat Duke and UNC in a 24 hour period. Shew my god you guys kill me. This is a one and done formatted tournament. Its not the best of 5 or 7. One bad night to someone's good night and the party is over. We should be very concerned with every team we play from here on out.Originally posted by JayCatz44:
They rank 111th in defensive efficiency. They're not beating UK.
