Maybe the guys will hear and read enough of the defensive criticism to actually care to play defense.

Hard to when you get a tech, get a foul called for doing nothing. Get hacked on the other end with no call. It was BS effort and criminal refs that caused that to be a non 20 point win.
That last 7 mins is why Kentucky is very vulnerable in March

They don’t even attempt to guard anybody and get beat off the dribble every time. I believe the intensity will be up in more serious scenarios but this game should have been 105-80 not 105-96
March isn't all half court games either. 96 and 98 didn't slow it down. 2012 played fast a lot of ncaa games. This year's team won't either.

You’re gonna understand in March when we go home on the second weekend or before when we have an off night offensively. Defense can show up every night. Offense can go in a minute and boom it’s over.
March won’t slow this style down. We need to make the other teams shots more difficult.
So what happened at the UNCW game? It just takes one game in March when you have an off game shooting and a consistently bad defense to go home for the season. If we had a really good defense we would be unstoppable, but we are far from that.
Better find a way to stop our big from getting sealed off under the basket because every single team is gonna do it the rest of the year. A&M gave the playbook and apparently they didn’t address it at practice
They don’t get it. They are mesmerized by scoring 90+ per game. We will see who has no knowledge of the game.
March madness games are half court, very few fast breaks, this is the team that can go against this
