I have a lot of respect for Scott Drew

I was one of those fans that went from not wanting the guy to hoping he would come to Lexington. You have to respect a person who’s values and family are more important then money and prestige. He seems like a great guy, and I wish it had worked out. Regardless, we’ll end up with the right guy at the right time, and I’m going to sit back and enjoy the show. It’s been a great few days even if it hasn’t gone the way we would have liked.

Same here man. I wasn't really interested in him until it looked like he was coming. After watching some interviews and researching him, I grew to really like the guy and was disappointed when he turned us down. Baylor is my new second favorite team.

I agree. Basketball is a game. Family is everything.

I think a few years ago it would have been possible to pry Drew away from Baylor.
However, from what I read he has at least 1 kid in high school, possibly 2. Thats a bad time to move your family if you don't have to.
