There’s a difference between “leaving UK” and no longer supporting UK with money or viewership. It’s kind of like supporting a middle age child until you can’t anymore. It doesn’t mean you don’t love them, but at some point that love has to be reciprocated by the child (or UK in this instance) showing you that your time and money has been well invested.

If you continue to reward a bad product with your viewership/money you are what’s known as an enabler. And enablers never end up actually helping who they intend to help.
