Cal is in his 60s too. You're absolutely right about the options - either we find a young, hungry guy or we back up the Brinks truck to Jay Wright's house and put the shifter into park.

I edited my list down to 38, left out those ineligible and who actually came back like Jones, Lamb, and the Harrisons.

Adding Mintz and Brooks, your list comes to 11. That's a 22% return rate.

His list included Quickley, who didn't declare after his FR year, however you still forgot Briscoe for both his FR year, came back, and his SO year, when he stay in the draft.

Secondly, I think you need to at least remove all players that were drafted in the lottery. So Wall, Cousins, Patterson, etc - out.

Given that, the list whittles down to 23 players that declared and didn't come back and 12 players that declared and did return.

34.3% return rate for players of Toppin's caliber, although I would slot him towrad the end of this list.
