If we had beaten Florida we would probably be close to where they currently are. That's okay though. Just keep winning and it will all take care of itself.

I have no problem with it. We beat one bad team (ULL), one mediocre team (South Carolina) and one decent team (Mizzou). For a team that has been struggling for a few years now, you need to do a lot more than that to get votes. Keep winning and it will take care of itself.

Yup, just keep winning. I think UK will get in to the polls if they beat EKU and AU, but then I think we will probably fall right back out with the @MSU, UT and @UGA stretch following that. Then I think if UK can rally and win the last 3 to finish 8-4 they might sneak back in heading into bowl season.

Sorry, but I do not tremble in fear of @MSU or UT. @UGA, however...

I think our developing ground game should help us out in Starkville. I think I need to peek at their rushing D stats to determine just how much. UT might be a GIANT game, and if so, I like our chances at home. I really do think our defense is improved overall from last year, and even at that, I felt like that game was an aberration last year.

UGA Chubb and Michel between the hedges? Likely to play a tune on our heads until we just can't take anymore in the second half. Close at break, but convincing Dawgs win all but assured at the end of the day.

Anyway, point is, I think we might move into T25 after an Auburn win, stay there, and even crack T15.

The big thing is at the end of the year, I believe we will be in the Others receiving votes category.

No one said anything about trembling in fear. I got news for you though, AU, @MSU, UT and @UGA are not easy and it is more likely than not we lose 3/4 of those games. If we go 2-2 I'd be very impressed.

Meh, I think all of us here know UK football has zero to very little respect within the college football media. Beating EKU by any margin isn't going to help a bit. Then we're going to into the Auburn game with them at 3-2, coming off a win over San Jose St which will do nothing for them. UK will likely be the favorite, and even the win over Auburn, though immensely gratifying for UK fans, won't get us in the top 25 even at 5-1 and 3-1 in the SEC. Then, IF MSU manages to beat A&M this weekend we'll have a chance to beat a team probably ranked in the teens on the road, and that should finally get us in the top 25. But if MSU loses to A&M even that win might not do it.

So basically I've decided not to care. Things are pretty exciting right now. There is at least some possibility this team could win 8-9 games. A bowl is almost a certainty. I just read a couple of things on ESPN where one named UK the SEC team of the week, and another simply pointed out things are looking good in the Big Blue Nation. I'm enjoying it, ranked or not!
