Would be one-and-done for sure. Like, not even a debate. If they win a title, he probably goes, but still, it's crazy how it's almost a given that Bam Adebayo is gone yet Robert Williams (and someone like Collins might) comes back to school.

Outstanding last game. Hope he doesn't come back flat against the Cheats.

look at Jackson and Meeks for UNC, both would have been first round locks

I imagine if JH is refereeing the game he won't be a problem for uncheat and neither will the big fella... They will both have two fouls in the first 5 minutes. The fix is in!

Collins was actually a OAD candidate way before the tournament. Scouts already had him as a late lotto pick

Although I wish he would leave, he will get drafted even higher next year so how exactly is that a huge mistake?

Williams at A&M is making a huge mistake coming back. He's a sure-fire lottery pick so he has nothing to gain by coming back.

Latest projections have him near the top 10, regardless of whether they win the championship. I'd say he is gone no matter what, IMO. You can't pass up the draft given that projection. Too big of a risk to not go.

I think there's a little room for balance in the message Cal gives these guys. Was listening to Fox's interview after the McDonalds AA game last year and he said "if I HAVE to go back to UK for a second year I will, but I'm trying to be one and done and will definitely leave if I'm a lottery pick." While I understand that the NBA is the ultimate goal/dream for all of these kids, I really wish Cal would alter the message a bit to make it clear that coming back for a second or third year shouldn't be some dreaded idea. It's still Kentucky. Best college basketball program in the country to play basketball for. More attention/adoration than most of these guys will ever get at the NBA-level.

I love Cal and what he's done and totally understand why he pumps up getting kids to the NBA as quickly as possible, all I'm saying is the benefits of playing at UK could be amplified a bit more as well.

A part of me wants Collins to declare so that the self righteous pricks in the media can choke on their own reverence of the glorious final four free from the vile OAD.

I don't have any qualms with the Fox's or Monk's. Or the Lyles, Booker, Murray, etc. If you're a lottery pick, like so many have been, go, go go. It's the few guys who clearly were not the focus of the team AND are not going to go in the lottery (Bam is that guy this year) that should have a serious press from Cal to get back. He's not breaking any promises or being deceitful. He could seriously sell Bam on the fact that he will be the go to guy on next year's team. The guys like Briscoe are obvious, but if someone like that is going to leave, then there's probably nothing you can say or promise him to change the decision.

I'm aware. What I'm saying is, will he be pushed out the door and not really convinced to return? At Kentucky, it would be a foregone conclusion that he is gone.
