I know this thread topic has been up before... but it's been awhile. And, I like to read about user history since we are all 'kinda masked with our identity with user names.
Mine started in the late 90's when my wife and I hooked up the phone line to get Internet on our IBM PC.
I subscribed to Cat's Pause printed newspaper (Still collect their yearbooks- I have all of them). The Internet was just beginning it's mainstream access into most homes and Cat's Pause put up their website and message boards. Dropped my printed subscription and signed up for their old premium account where most recruiting info was discussed. Evolution of social media made it much easier to find out about recruiting rumors and stopped using the premium membership. And, the rest is history.
Tbone is probably about my fourth user name I've used since then. I'm in my mid-forties and it's hard to believe that Rafters (and its earlier versions) have been part of my life now for nearly 20 years with keeping up about UK athletics.
Now, I mostly read and post sporadically.
