Your Postseason Prediction for This Team

A lame answer on my part but it really will depend on seeding and what teams will be in their bracket IMO. Right now I would say their ceiling will be the sweet 16...but hopeful that they will figure it out and things will start clicking.

Well, I'm hoping for the championship game, myself. :)

They will be winning it all on my bracket. I would say we make it to the Final Four. Once you get there anything can happen.

As of today, I'm gonna say, we'll either lose in the first or second round, but things can change.

If we get the right match-ups, someone on the front line grows a pair, and we're hitting shots, we COULD get to the Elite 8 or Final 4.

I leaning toward my first prediction, because I think that our front line guys are collectively weak both physically and mentally.

Too hard to tell right now with this team. I could see anything from a first round exit, to a final four appearance. I am hoping for the latter.

Too many defensive and shooting issues right now to go far.

First weekend exit

They can go all the way or lose in the first round. That kind of team and that kind of year.

I say Elite 8

Ask me after the Florida game. If they can't bounce back from the Tennessee game and beat Florida at home....

Complete mystery this year. Either lose in the first round or final four is my prediction.

With this team we eill need to see the bracket we are in before anyone can venture a guess. This team can lostle to anyone and beat anyone.
I say if we are a 4 in Villanova's bracket we are at least E8 good.
But if we end up an 8 seed in Oklahoma's bracket we won't survive the first weekend.

This teamed is flawed in so many ways. First round exit. But ending this season will not be hard like the losses to WV,Uconn or Wisc. because those years we should have won a National Championship. That was Hard to take. Many of the players on this team are hard to watch and it will not be difficult to take when this season ends. On to next year.

My guess would be we go in as a 6 or 7 seed and if we make it to the 2nd weekend, then everything from that point on would be gravy.

This is my answer also.
I will add this: I'd like to see what happens between now and then before making a prediction. Cal's teams seem to make the most progress in February. But that remains to be seen.

so inconsistent it is only a guess at this point, agree with those who say anything from NIT to Final Four NCAA. They are so up and down plus a lot of parity in college ball. When you have a team like last year and the John Wall team you need to take the trophy because it doesn't happen often.

Way too early to say. If we're an 8 seed and Oklahoma is our 1, picking us to get to the Sweet Sixteen wouldn't be wise.

But if we're a 4 and our 1 seed is Xavier...

Who knows until the end of the season and we know our seed and matchups, but right now I'd say the ceiling is Sweet 16.

They're heading for a bad seed unless they steal 2-3 games on the road... that's 2-3 against Texas A&M, South Carolina, Florida and Vandy. Unlikely.

If they don't, I hope they fall to a 10 or 11 seed, stay out of the #1 seed's path, and hopefully the 2 seed as well. I don't think this team can pull off an upset of a 1 like we did 2 years ago.

Past Cal teams peak in March and are usually in the final four. I say we barely win our first game, beat a 1 or 2 seed and lose in the elite 8. Can't always go to a final four every year, even though with Cal it seems that way.
