1. 1975 Midwest Regional Final....one of our best wins ever, over anyone
2. 2012 Sweet 16....avenged the loss earlier in the year
3. 1983 Sweet 16....set up the Dream Game
4. 2004....might have year wrong, we beat Mike Davis by 41 points
5. 1991....beat them at Indianapolis. We both lost to Laettner that year.

I can't disagree with your 5. Especially 1975, my freshman year at UK. Indiana had been undefeated until that game, including an early clobbering to us. They kept showing Bobby Knight's wife crying during the game on tv. It was great! As far as 2012 was concerned, it was pretty good, but I just saw Indiana as just another team standing between us and the NC. See http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/statistics/indiana.html for a good overview of the series.

Not old enough for '75, so here is my Top 3:

1. 96/97- Anderson & Mercer ran roughshod over Knight's boys, just bloodied the Hoosiers
2. 92/93- great game, Mashburn/Ford/Cheaney/Nover all go for 29
3. 2012 S16- beautiful game, it was nice having someone actually try to run with us that year

That 1991 game was an awesome one. That IU team went to the Final Four with Calbert Cheaney, Damon Bailey, Alan Henderson, Eric Anderson and Greg Graham.

I'll only say 75'. It begins and ends with that one. Especially if I have to answer that for any of the Hoosiers in my family. Lord knows there's enough of them. But whenever hoops gets discussed I always try to bring up 75'. It always gets 'em ! hehehe

I'm in favor of last years UK Indiana game and think all UK/IU games should resemble that.

Lucky enough to be at that game. The take away I had from that game was of course watching Bobby Knight after the game not shaking hands with Joe B. The real take away though was watching Bobby's wife. She was totally beside herself. I hate to admit it. I loved it.

Hmm...

I was referring to the 2015 UK/IU game. I loved it.

Although, my father talks about this being the highlight of the night for him. He's always claimed RMK wife was in total disarray after the loss. He always puts 75 IU/UK as the best.

1) '75 ME Finals
2) '96 "Maul at the Hall"- Knight's look towards the end of the game is priceless.
3) '12 RF - Helluva game.
4) '83 RSF
5) '97 - Got the feeling Knight thought his UK nightmares were over with when Rick left and Tubby took over... Nope.
