I invite everyone to watchthe game again and focus on the play of our frosh LBs. A number of big plays were directly due to one of these guys being out of position.
The long TD run - tell me where nico firios was going 1 second before the snap.
Jordan jones, who actually played really well overall, really fell asleep on his man streaking the sideline on a wheel route. That led to another TD.
Josh Allen dropped a pick 6 and took himself out of the play on a couple 10-15 yard runs.
A lot of those off tackle runs from read-option... ware really failed to break down and keep edge... a lot.
My point here is - our dbs played really well, our senior lbs played really well, and our dts/ngs played pretty well (meant made a lot of plays, lewis took double teams all game). The young guy stuff we can expect to improve - this will be the first time they get to see their decision-making play out on tape. We will get flanigan and hatcher back (and dont forget kobie walker was out too).
Not trying to pump sunshine here, but it's also not quite bad enough to meltdown over. Yound guys played a TON of snaps in there.
