Just wait. It is already starting to take shape but another couple years of Cal stocking the league with UK players and it is going to be ridiculous. There will be a UK player on just about every team and there will be some teams that have 3 or 4. Every team has a rival or two but it goes a little beyond that with the Cats. UofL, Indiana, Kansas, UNC and Tennessee all have really big chips on there shoulders when it comes to UK. A couple more National Championships, more number one recruiting classes and an NBA chocked full of UK players may just be more than some of them can bare. It sure is a great time to be a Cat fan.

we want and need a title lol. i see it happening in the next three years. if more than one it will be a dynasty in my eyes. the stocked drafts and continuing ff's is getting pretty ridiculous.

It wasn't that long ago before Cal arrived that a final four seemed enough for alot of fans.. Coach Cal has UK being the envy of everyone. We are truely blessed to be Kentucky fans with the Best coach, fans, and team
Ever!

If we win another title in the next few years, the "Cal cheats" chant will rise to an all-time high. Right now, other fan bases seem content to just say that Cal can't win the big one (he lucked into the 2012 title). He wins another one and they will only have the "Cal cheats" battle cry.

I just want Cal to tell me his only goal in life is to win a championship.

I will disregard any other accomplishments until he shouts this to the world.

On a semi-related note.......

I was keeping an eye on my Twitter feed all during the broadcast of the draft the other night - especially what national sites, national B'ball personalities, and such were tweeting out. But you know.................I've about had it with the fans of other SEC teams. IMO, UK fans are generally supportive of other SEC teams when it comes to football games, bowl games, and even when they are playing in the NCAA tourney. I know I always cheer for the SEC. I'm not sure we are getting the favor returned. I encountered a lot of anti-UK tweets when anybody said anything positive about Cal, our players being drafted, or just UK in general. I saw garbage from UT fans, Ole MIss fans, Arkansas fans, Auburn fans, Florida fans, and LSU fans.

I can understand the negativity from UNC, KU, Duke, IU fans, and so on, but you would think our SEC "brothers" would be supportive.

Conference pride and honking is for suckers, imo.

It's us and then everybody else. That's how I like it. That's how I want it.

That's fine, I guess, but it's not me exactly. I LOVED the Ohio State/Big Ten beatdowns at the hands of an SEC team in the Championship games a few years ago.

I don't go around bragging about the SEC to everyone, but I certainly support it.

I get it. Maybe I went a little too far. I would rather teams in the SEC win rather then lose. I won't lose sleep over it and I'm sure you wouldn't either.

I just don't think we get any respect in the SEC. In football, we are looked at as a doormat(can't really argue). In basketball, we've been smacking these teams around for so long, they hate us.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Same here, I back the SEC teams when it comes to Bowl Games and March Madness, that's just me. I have been around plenty of SEC rival's fans who have wished up nothing but the best in the NCAA Tourney so I'm not experiencing the same hate from all other SEC schools that some of you are posting about. I'm sure there are those who cheer against us all the way in basketball but I've experienced many who have cheered us on so I guess it differs with everyone's own experience with other fans.

Oh for sure. You live in Oregon though correct? If so, do you run into a lot of fans from teams from the SEC?

Just curious.

Yes, that is true. I have seen some SEC fans come to this board and wish us good luck during the tournament.

However, Thursday night, it just seemed that it overwhelmingly went the other way. Some of the remarks were even directed at Cal's and UK Men's Basketball's tweets. Especially, though, there were quite a few in response to CBS Sports, ESPN tweets, and national writer's tweets.

No, I used to live in Oregon but moved back to Lexington. Just kept my same user name on this board. I've been to many away games in the SEC as well as meeting fans here for football and basketball games with some very good experiences and only one real bad one with an Arkansas fan (big surprise there, huh?).

Haha. Glad your back in Lex. Just put in an offer for a house. Fingers crossed.
