X-Files show returning to Fox

Limited 6 series run, Mulder & Scully are in along with the brains behind it Chris Carter. Allegedly the point is to tie up all the lose ends from the show that were not addressed in the puzzling movie that came out a few years ago that had nothing to do with the original show or aliens or government conspiracies.

Hesitant to wish that this goes well. Duchovney & Anderson are gettin old if you have seen them recently. The show was so special those first 3 or 4 seasons. It was appointment television, felt like a 1 hr movie it was so different than normal television each week with great acting & original settings. Kind of meandered on pointlessly the last few seasons.

I just wonder where originality has gone when it comes to programming. Recycling ish rarely works out well.

I started watching in syndicate. It was ok. Did not see all the episodes, but pretty sure the last episode, they tied up all the lose ends, like the smoking man, the alien coverup, moulder's sister.
