Before this happened, I could have seen Bobby leaving and letting his former assistant Jeff Brohm come in and take over. Now, things have changed.
With coaches on the hot seat at ND, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Arkansas..there will be some musical chairs this off-season. Now I know he won't be at a school like Ark...but one school hiring a coach always sets off a chain.
Chip Kelly is the prized puppy, but who else is left after he takes a job? Heck, Jimbo Fisher could leave FSU for LSU and then that's another top job sitting open...heck Harbaugh could go to the Colts for all we know and Michigan might sit open too.
With Lamar Jackson leaving and his buddy Tom gone...I see him getting out now. The university did not really want him, but Tom used his power to force him back in there no matter what they wanted. He is not a loyal guy either haha.
The fans have hounded him since the Clemson loss. He won them a BCS bowl and made them big time his first run and gave them a Heisman and had them thinking playoffs last year. He might think this is his chance for the big one and he's reached a ceiling at UofL.
Of course now I see Brohm at a bigger program next fall...so they may be looking elsewhere.
