I’m not saying don’t get him, but did you forget Josiah Hayes? He and Rogers are the same class and are essentially co-starters.

Again, im not saying he wouldn’t be a welcomed addition to the depth because as UGA proved this past season, insane talented depth on the DL is always welcome.

At 6’1 285, wouldn’t he project better at DE or DT? Seems a little light for NT

I didn’t forget but was thinking about more depth if there was room. I think he’d be a NT in the SEC but he’d need to put on some weight as you point out. I would like to see more production from a junior if he made the direct transfer to DT for UK at this point in the program under Stoops.

Gotcha - I know absolutely nothing about him, but if he pretty quick/explosive, I was thinking he’d pair nicely with Ox at the DT position

Yeah, no worries. Of course we talked about it a lot before the decision was made, and as much as we loved his time in Lexington, we thought it was best for him and our family for him to look elsewhere.
