I've never seen this guy play but I'm going to assume you can't slide a sheet of paper under his feet when he jumps.
There does come a point when you get too tall. There was a 7’11 guy that could dunk without leaving the ground and he never became anything. I do think kids this tall suffer from gigantism and it’s not as promising as one would think. I certainly wish nothing but the best for these kids.
They said the same things about Edey, but he was an unusual case. Edey built himself into a tank of a player with great stamina. It will be interesting to see how it works out in 3-4 years. If he can keep his feet in good shape and has no heart issues, Golden may be playing the long game.
