Wizards vs Celtics GIII

I love this series. These teams hate each other and it is awesome. Reminds one of the '80s when everybody hated everybody.

thats true, but rather see it with GSW and Cavs. That would be fun to see. Title on the line.

but the league will suspended the F out of players, so i don't think anything like this intensity will happen.

they just started posting up IT...

about time,

but post up game is lost art. Not sure if they can keep it up. They could if they had been working on it all year by all the players, but i doubt it.

Talk about a total ass whipping. If they can bring this energy and toughness back to Boston...

Boston is an easy team to dislike.

Thomas with the Jordan treatment from the refs.
Marcus Smart
Kelly Olynk
Jae Crowder
Tyler Seller
Terry Rosier
Kaylee "going to Cal" Brown

Ugh

As a lifelong Sixers fan, I've hated the Celtics since as long as I can remember.

Bog is playing a lot better, that helps.

Posting up IT really wears out IT. So, that's going to be key moving forward. But most of the player doesn't seem like they know post game.

This series is going to be great for all 7 games. Evenly matched, hatred, chippiness, hard fouls and fights. Like someone else said, a throwback to the 80's, except back then Oubre would've just gotten a personal foul call and a stern talking to by the refs. I say if a guy like Olynyk can give cheap blind side shoulder shots like he has been all along, then the other team should be allowed to jack him back accordingly. Dude is a punk.

Enjoy it now because this is basically the opposite of what we get from watching freaking GSW.

Brad Stevens has the look of a third grader who just had his lunch money stolen.

Doris Burke is a moron. Jennings and Rozier going at it. Rozier shoves Jennings at least three different times. Burke says it was all Jennings.

I've been a Celtics fan since I was a kid. I can't root for this team.

they probably trade IT, and some of these other players will probably get moved slowly.

Jaylen Brown will slowly take the starting rotation, i think. We'll see who they draft, they can get really good next few years. Which is kind of scary.

Strange series. Wizards are clearly the better team (IMO) but down 2-1 due to choking away big leads and inability to execute in the clutch in game 2 in regulation.

As for Jennings and Rozier I know it's easy to bash Rozier since he played for Louisville but Jennings has been trolling him for some time now

LOL, come on. Jennings was clearly trying to get under his skin... and it worked. But honestly, Jennings was getting in his face each time. Rozier couldn't hold it together though.

If the NBA is smart, this thing goes 7.

A Wall-Thomas game 7 showdown could be epic.

This series has been the best thing about these playoffs (perhaps the only interesting thing) and could help generate real momentum heading into the ECF where Lebron will be waiting for Thomas or Wall.

Given the way the Celtics were handed game 2, I expect the Celtics to win, just not sure if it is five games or seven.

He's good but he isn't going to carry you to the promise land. While his value is high, trade him to get high draft pick. He is defensive liability, and Cavs/GSW/Spurs would decimate Boston.

They may get the #1 pick. I doubt they trade him unless they get Fultz and he makes Thomas replaceable within the first year.

The way Thomas is handled with kid gloves by the refs, he may not be that easy to replace.

They were mixing it up. If you want to say that Jennings started it, fine. He probably did.

But it wasn't like Rozier was an innocent bystander.

I guess it just rubbed me the wrong way because the Celtics routinely play rough and dirty, but Doris Burke used this instance to seemingly paint the Celtics and their coach as choir boys.

To paraphrase a gushing Burke, "I don't think I've ever seen Brad so mad before. But you know, he's the one guy who won't cuss in a situation like this. Don't think I would have so much restraint. And the books he reads! Golly."

There was a quote from Caron Butler last night calling John Wall the second best player in the Eastern Conference.

I agree. Burke did seem a little enamored with Stephens. The Celtics are pretty unlikable and Stephens was acting like a child, even though the fouls they called on Rozier were legit. Just looked like Jennings was trying to get under his skin and did.

That is the problem with the NBA. The pick is legal for some players and a foul for others. Rarely are the picks ever actually set.

I missed most of the game, unfortunately, but did see that
was trying to figure out why Jennings was getting in trouble for stuff Rozier was doing
