XWall becoming a reliable 3 ball shooter - virtually unguardable now and OHHH so fun to watch.
game is getting chippy
John Wall is the best PG in the league IMO. Dude is a beast! I know that seems crazy with guys like Westbrook, Harden, CP3 etc in the league.. but I think I'd take Wall over any of them. Oh and I'm a KU fan BTW so no bias here.
couldn't agree morewin or lose the series, these performances by wall in the playoffs has made a huge statement.

Good point. Idk how I forgot about Steph. I should've rephrased that.. Wall is the best pure PG in the league, he can score with the best of them. But I think he's a pass first PG unlike Steph, Westbrook etc. He's awesome, going to make an all NBA team but he's not the best pg in the NBA. Westbrook, Harden, Curry are ahead of him. I think he's passed Cp3 though. He's the best traditional pg in the NBA imo though.

Westbrook is not better. He is way too out of control. Wall had more assist and less TO.
If Wall had three point shooters surrounding him like Harden has, he would lead in assist, and his efficiency to drive the ball will go up as well.
Curry better scorer, but he isn't a better PG. The guy has 6.5 apg to 3 TOpg. And surrounded by 3 All-star player....
Wall is too underrated. His bench is complete shit. His starting rotation ain't that great either.
Westbrook is better, he's a top 3-5 player in the NBA according to pretty much anyone. Yea he turns the ball over, he also had the highest usage % in the NBA. He's ahead of Wall in every advanced metric and is most likely winning the MVP. Not a diss at Wall as I said I think he's the best traditional pg in the NBA but Russ/Harden are top 5 players in the league.
of course he has better "metrics". That's because he benefits from rebounding. Instead of letting the bigs get it and be ready to get it at half court to put pressure on defense.
That's why their numbers are stupid. Doing stuff that doesn't help you win doesn't make you better.
Wall tries to initiate offense as quickly as possible. If he can get it around 15 - 18 ft, he will get the rebound and push. Westbrook will go into paint and take it away from bigs. Practically meaningless stat boost.
