I've been looking at a ton of videos of the guys we are in on and this I think is my final rankings of the players I want to sign for next year that I think we are the team to beat for:
1) Bamba - this is self explanatory. Difference Maker. Feel like this is close to being done.
2) The new 2 for me is Cameron Johnson. I really really want this kid. Eligible immediately. 2 years. 6'8 SG that has shot above 40% from 3... Experienced and reminds me so much of Justin Jackson. Mismatch nightmare.
3) Mark Smith
4) Jemaryl Baker
I think we get the top 3 IMO leaving us with this roster:
PG: Quade Green, Shai Alexander
SG: Hamidou Diallo, Mark Smith
SF: Jared Vanderbilt, Cam Johnson
PF: Bamba, PJ Washington , Wenyen
C: Nick Richards, SKJ or Humphries
People listed 1st aren't necessarily starters. Yes, that's a young team...But, that team has 5 guys that can and will make perimeter shots 11 players over 6'5, and 7 players over 6'7 with 2, maybe 3 if SKJ develops rim protectors.
That's a really complete team. Green may average a stupid amount of assists....
