Nothing pointed at you but I have heard several talk about Wiltjers' work ethic. I tend to believe an athlete at his level has a fine work ethic. I'd bet he is meeting goals he has set for himself. What may not be happening is he is not attaining what we as fans think he should be. You can argue he is not reaching his potential. He seems very happy doing what he's doing and how he is doing it. Let's be happy for him.Originally posted by caneintally:
he is what he is but i doubt he lasts long in the NBA . Too weak and not much work ethic . But he could change i guess as he still is a kid .
Do you mind telling us how many players at UK were part of more than one championship team? Not very many. You make it sound like one championship against one trip to the NIT is a bad thing. I'll let you in on a secret. If any one player helps us to one championship and one trip to the NIT, I will take a dozen please.Originally posted by ftp000:
Does no one else remember, during our awful NIT season, that after a particularly epic ass chewing the team received from Cal on the sidelines, Wiltjer was seen to say "F him" about Cal as they broke and headed back on the court?
Wiltjer was a part of a championship team one season, then a part of the cancer that sent us to a first round loss in the NIT.

There is no explanation. Just a dumb statement.Originally posted by Chuckinden:

Incredibly dumb...Cal wanted Wiltjer back, and was disappointed when he decided to transfer.Originally posted by 4UK:

Is it possible to do that and at the same time wish he had applied himself harder while in Lexington? Yes, it is. And that's what we do.Originally posted by BBUK:

Who cares about this traitor? I have more respect for players like Sheray Thomas and Ramon Harris, hell, even Jon Hood. Real Cats. Kyle Wiltjer is a Bulldog and will always be a Bulldog. There is no room for interpretation here. He is not a Cat. I understand he made the best choice for himself, or so he thought. I don't hate the guy for it, but to say we should treat him exactly as if he were still here is laughable.
I don't wish him all the best, because honestly, it doesn't matter to me. He's a Marvin Stone, Michael Bradley, Myron Anthony, Stacey Poole.
I think people are attached because he is a white guy on a national championship team. Kind of like how people kept following Michael Bradley's career, but not Myron Anthony.

BUT, for your information I was not trying to be constructive to your post, I was seriously trying to be destructive. Especially now since you actually think what you posted was in anyway decent or acceptable.
It deserves a double...
Sounds like a post a Sakoff would make.Originally posted by Wernicke Korsakoff:
