Willis stats today

I think if he can grab some rebounds and a little defense he may get a shot or for now at least a contract in the D league to get a longer audition. I can hope anyway...Go CATS!!!:uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi:

I have always liked Willis and pull for him to do well, but I think if he wants to make money playing basketball his best bet is overseas. I will be rooting for him in whatever he decides to do.

Defense, being strong and having a consistent motor. All three improves this year. Not there, yet, for NBA.

Hoping for him to be able to secure a D League (or whatever it is now called) contract and work on improving areas he needs to in order to ever have a shot at the NBA. His defense may be his biggest problem, as we all know. Thinking like a poster above that his best shot at earning money in basketball will be somewhere overseas.

Willis is 3rd youngest on the team and with much higher drafted guys who are going to be getting minutes. For him to get 11 is fantastic for him. What's even better is how productive he was with the limited minutes he got. Next game he might get more minutes.
this is how you work you way into the NBA.

Seems many of you guys just hate on him all the time even when he isn't even playing here....still hating.

Naw, they just aren't in the Bullitt Co mafia. Willis faces a damn tough battle and one he probably will fail at in terms of the NBA. Off shore leagues are another matter. Hope it works out for him. Acknowledging he will have a rough road isn't hating, unless you are in the Bullitt Co mafia.

That step back is the shot Cal would not let him, Poy and a number of other players shoot.
