His pump fake for a 3 in the corner was a thing of beauty. Believe he could use that several times a game and be successful. Don't coaches teach the pump fake any more.

I agree, bippus. I've been hoping Willis would add a pump fake to his arsenal. Maybe start drawing some contact for some free throws too.
The ball fake? Yes, Bobby Knight still talks about it. All the time. In fact, he never shuts up about it.
Seems like about every other time Willis has tried that ball fake he got called for a walk. Now that I think about it, it actually seems like a lot of guys get called for walks on that ball fake. I don't know if that's just a misperception on my part; but if not, do the players walk that often on that move or do referees just get fooled into thinking it's a walk more often than it actually is?
I remember that one. That was a pretty sweet move. And yes, a lot of those are called walks even though they are not.
It may just be my imagination but it seems like they've been calling a walk out of the pump fake a lot more this season across the league.
Yes that is what I am saying. Despite it being called, they are not walking. I can not stand that.
I think Willis is starting to believe in himself more and getting more confidence. Like other & yourself I have been wondering why he did not use the head fake more and if he can draw a foul even because he is a great f/t shooter.
