Larry Vaught on the radio today said the unknown injury that kept Willis out of the OSU game was knee soreness. fwiw

I believe that Cal thought this wasn't going to be game we would lose and so not playing Willis wasn't at issue (safer to allow him to rest if there is any soreness). But, the game got out of hand way to quick. I also think many of us were thinking we could come back. We knew that Ohio State wasn't really a great team, they hit some great looks in the first half but that typically doesn't occur all game and on offense Kentucky kept fumbling the ball away on the interior in the first half so things would get better in the second half.

Now, maybe if you want to look at the game as a glass half filled, Murray taking over is what I have been saying needed to be going on from day one. He is our best offensive player and the turn-overs were occurring by too much dribbling in the paint where defenses were packed in. So, maybe moving away from trying to force the ball into KAT when he isn't on the team shouldn't be the first option anymore. Our strength is the guard play which is why we beat Duke. Willis is a role player and at present would not have been the reason we could have won or why we lost. I hope he contributes as he has shown some flashes and whether Skal should play as much as he has or not is an entirely different question.

I thought the Willis fan boi's had already probed Calipari's soul and decreed there was a vast conspiracy to get Skal into the NBA lottery

I'm not sure Willis would have gotten us a win. His injury wasn't as big as Lee's and Ulis'..

But it's still worth noting that Kentucky hasn't lost with a healthy roster since March of 2014.

And where was Hump? (Wasn't able to watch the game)
