Willis' coast to coast dunk broke this message board

Haha I had and idea for the same thread title, but then j played battlefront for an hour. Go Willis!!

Why should that be espn top 10?
It was awesome seeing him be aggressive and taking it to the hole but it was just an average dunk.

Yeah I didn't expect him to do that, his confidence is growing, keep on knocking em down and rebounding, proud of him:cool2:

What I thought was amazing was he went about 80 feet with only 4 dribbles!

Waiting to see if opposing teams are going to adjust and try to make him more of a focus on the defensive end. He has become that big of a deal now.
I guarantee he made enough noise in this game to get Kansas' attention so look for them to focus on him.
That might be a bad move because Ulis and Murray will say hello.

Willis has become one of the best "feel good" stories for Kentucky basketball fans since Harrelson, but this is even better since he's a Kentucky kid. He's living proof of what I'm trying to teach my own son playing 9th grade basketball and wanting to play on the JV or Varsity team at his high school. Keep your head up, keep learning, keep trying to add different dimensions to your game, and always play with energy. Eventually good thins are going to happen. Be ready when your opportunity comes and take advantage of it. My son remembers Willis from the past two years and kept laughing at me when I would suggest earlier this season that Cal needed to give Willis more of a chance and Willis kept stubbing his toe with his defense or rebounding prowess. Now he's putting it all together and it has really opened my sons eyes to being persistent and hanging in there and how it pays off. I can't thank Willis or his dad (and Cal) enough for his transformation and it's affect on a bunch of young WildCat fans who are still learning to play. It hits home a little more seeing a player like Willis come into his own over a three year period rather than a super star freshmen coming in and pretty much dominating for one year. I love the OAD guys but it's hard for the average high school basketball player to relate to them. But they can see themselves in Willis, even though he was a pretty highly rated recruit himself.
