Whatever you do, don't leave town without having a cheesesteak. I mean, it's Pittsburgh after all.
Any certain place???

I've heard I've got to get a sandwich at primanti bros. But not sure if they serve cheesesteaks or not.

McDonalds there sells McPhillies.

Where will you be in Pittsburgh? There are a lot of good places to eat. Are you looking for lunch, dinner or what? Any ethnic food preferences?

Lived in Pittsburgh for about 6 months while training on a job years ago. Primanti Brothers is the local tradition for lunch. Great sandwiches served with fries and slaw as part of the sandwich. Multiple locations.

Other than what has already been listed you can try: Lydia's - Great Italian restaurant, Eleven, Meat & Potatoes, Sviche, NOLA or Sonoma Grill. They are all in walking distant down town.

Primanti Bros are the most overrated thing in existence. Their sandwiches are gross. Get out of town asap
