Wild ending to the week, shaking things up, and why not try taking a wild stab at what my top25 looks like as of right now, and add to it my first runtology of the year (only selected seedings, and is based on the top 6 seeds staying within my top25 - as of right now)

Hey, fire away at what/how/why I've got it wrong ! (I'm sure there will be some problems, as I'm not double checking this or anything, just off the cuff for now)

1 - Kentucky (good to be the king)
2 - Virginia (strong #2 right now)
3 - Duke (doesn't it sound right, I mean, they lose and only drop a minuscule one spot, the bare minimum, right?)
4 - Arizona (by virtue of the win over the Zags, I'm making them one spot higher)
5 - Gonzaga (legit #5, should be just below Zona', in my opinion, due to the head to head result)
6 - Villanova (why am I putting them here? Am I just a lemming, following the other pollsters??? Pretty much, yes)
7 - Louisville (lil brother should be lower in my personal poll, but they're not because that loss to Rutgers is just BAD, even without Kaminsky)
8 - Wisconsin (see above as to why they're not at least one spot higher)
9 - Utah (better than they're getting credit for, they're a complete team)
10 - Kansas (Still going to win the big12, you watch)
11 - Wichita State (still getting by one last year, shame on me for ranking them this high)
12 - Iowa State (I suspect they'll be giving KU the best run for the title this year, why I dunno)
13 - Notre Dame (damn solid team, spreading out those 4 guards and shooting the way they do, they should do well this year)
14 - Maryland (Have to keep them in this range so I can make them a 4 seed and annoy Duke fans with putting them in their region! hahaha)
15 - Texas (don't give up on them - yet - just because of Barnes. There's still hope, right?!? please tell me I'm right)
16 - VCU (Not sold they deserve this)
17 - Baylor (see VCU, but the narrow miss against KU makes me more confident about them in this spot)
18 - Arkansas ( creeping up, will go higher before it's all said and done, I'm willing to bet)
19 - UNC*** (loved the manner in which they beat lil brother - shouldn't be worse than this, imo)
20 - Oklahoma (dropped like a rock after this past week, rightfully so)
21 - Seton Hall (same as Oklahoma, personally, I don't see them in top 25 by season's end)
22 - Oklahoma State (These last four was a crapshoot, so I went with giving some love to Travis' Ford's team)
23 - LSU (why not LSU at 23? The win @WVU offsets the bad conference loss, that's my story and I'm sticking to it)
24 - Michigan State (Never give up on IZZO making the NCAAT and SOMEHOW making noise, no matter how crappy it looks for them)
25 - Alabama (Ima SEC homer, and think it sets up an interesting top 25 matchup for UK next Sat.)

Midwest
1 - UK (overall #1 seed, DUH)
2 - Louisville (sorry lil brother, had to throw you back into UK's region - again)
3 - Wichita State (storylines galore if they could make it to play UL and if they could make it that far, Kentucky)
4 - Notre Dame (4 guards spreading the floor, a tough team, ex-big east team, sounds like about what they'd want for a 4 seed opposite UK)
5 - Oklahoma
6 - Michigan State (again, fitting they would end up in the midwest with ole buddies, UL and UK)

South
1 - Duke (third overall #1 seed)
2 - Villanova ( isn't this already been written in stone by everyone for the past month now ?)
3 - Iowa State (toughens the region up some, I think ???)
4 - Maryland (Duke is not going to like to see their old rival in their region)
5 - Baylor (somehow they pop up in my top25 and once again as a decent seed)
6 - LSU (c'mon SEC !)

East
1 - Virginia (hella good second #1 seed)
2 - Wisconsin (going to be a tough out as a #2 seed - or if a lower seed, even tougher - for whomever sees them in their region)
3 - Utah (another tough team, Delon Wright & Co. are talented and a very good team)
4 - VCU ( I know the Cavs handled them earlier this year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them opposite VA. in the NCAAT)
5 - Arkansas (C'mon, SEC!)
6 - Oklahoma State ( good job so far, Travis)

West
1 - Arizona (still the best team out west, imo, and 4th #1 seed)
2 - Gonzaga (should go unbeaten the rest of the way, solid team, and should be a solid #2 seed for anyone to play)
3 - Kansas (Still think they win the Big12 outright, but this time, "only" manage a 3 seed)
4 - Texas (I haven't given up on them yet, still think they should end up with a better seed than this when all is said and done)
5 - UNC*** (should be banned from postseason play, so I had to put them in there somewhere, dadgumit!)
6 - Seton Hall (shouldn't be anywhere near a 6 seed in the end, but there it is)

What's your top 5? Top 10? Top 20/25?
How about your top seeds (as of now? or how it all shakes out by the time we get to selection sunday?)
Got a bone to pick with my wild thoughts? Or are they not so crazy? Or somewhere in the middle ?
Take a stab and give your thoughts, make a comment, or share an opinion, or simply discuss.

My top 25:

1. UK
2. UVA
3. Arizona - (They'll move up past Duke by one spot. I don't think they're better than Duke)
4. Duke
5. Gonzaga
6. Nova - (Just moving them up one. Not overly impressed with them)
7. Utah
8, Louisville
9. Wisconsin
10. Maryland
11. KU
12. Notre Dame
13. WVU
14. Iowa St.
15. Wichita St.
16. UNC (Frauds move up because win over Cards negates mid-week loss)
17. Arkansas - (SEC's clear No. 2 team at the moment)
18. VCU
19. Texas - (Biggest plunge)
20. LSU - (SEC honk pick)
21. OK. State
22. George Washington
23. Baylor
24. Oklahoma
25. Northern Iowa

I like that you've got Utah at #7. They're a really good team that (I think) alot of people here in the east/south aren't paying much attention to, mainly because there haven't been many games to see them play.

As for Utah : Delon Wright is for real, he is a very good player, and I think he's legitimately near the top as one of the best guards in the country. He shined in the Kansas game (24 pts, 4 assists, 4 steals) and has looked good in the big games Utah has played this year. (it doesn't hurt to have a good set of players around him, either)

Also, I like to see that we could legitimately consider another SEC team (this case - LSU) as another team to be in the top 25. Surely someone else in the SEC should be in there, why not LSU or even Bama' (if not to simply make for a more interesting game to look that way for others in the nation by making Bama' a top 25 team - thus creating a top 25 in-conference matchup) or, why not both LSU and Bama' in the top 25?

I'm not sitting here and staring down at the ground in shame this year for the SEC. We're better overall, no doubt about it. Maybe even better than the improved thoughts everyone - including us - have about our league. Maybe for once, Coach Cal's hyperbole and rhetoric about how great the SEC is - is more on target this time (?)

The last 7 or so teams in the top 25 is just hard to say, I'd be ok with anyone (just about) as long as they make a half decent case for the teams and why they put them in there.

Gonzaga sure gets a ton of respect for that "good" loss they had. I'm still waiting for them to play someone other than HS basketball teams. We will be waiting until the NCAA Tourney for that.
